Classes in History are a documentation of prominent world events. Classes promote understanding of how cultures became countries, how languages developed, etc. Once the foundation of these [institutions] is created, history begins to record the diversity of these [institutions] often peacefully, but more often through confrontation--through WAR.
"Peace" is a word used frequently, often just by repetitive memory. A first step is to become conscious of when we see it, when we hear it, when we say it.)
During 2020 upcoming events--concerts, plays, art exhibits or other already planned gatherings of people can include an artistic expression of peace during their event. Music, art, visual art, media...all reinforce our conscious efforts to work together toward a consciousness of Peace.
Schools already have a curriculum of learning exercises planned. Can little people learn how to spell "PEACE" (and "peace") while they learn what it means?
Can older students consciously be aware of studies where the element of peace is included in writings, history, music...?
Why do reports of conflicts greatly outweigh reports of human cooperation? How about making surprisingly kindhearted events overtake bad news? Here we have excellent resourceful opportunities for creativity and cooperation!
